The Lotus Lantern Festival parade has more than one hundred thousand lighted lanterns in all shapes and sizes (sometimes fire breathing!), and marchers come from all around the country to participate. The Taean Tulip Festival, was designated one of the top five tulip festivals in the world by the World Tulip Summit. In the evening it turns into a fantastic electric light festival.
