This combination package combines multiple tours. Enjoy sightseeing around Kyoto, Hiroshima, Mt. Fuji, Tokyo, and other popular sites in Japan all led by an English-speaking interpreter guide. Even people who are not used to travelling in Japan will have no problem participating worry-free.

Day 1: Arrival : Kansai Airport

Arrive at Kansai International Airport.

The taxi driver will meet customers at the airport in time for their flight and drop them off at their hotel in Kyoto City. 

Arrive at Hotels in Kyoto City.

Free time after arrival.

Day 2: Kyoto

8:00 - 8:50 a.m.

Pick-up service is available at hotels in Kyoto city. Please be at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure. 

All transportation on this tour is by bus. 


Enter Nijo Castle  (50 min)

A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see.


Visit Kinkaku-ji Temple  (45 min)

A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.


[Except Mondays] Kyoto Imperial Palace (40 min)

See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago.


[Mondays (and Tuesdays when Monday is a national holiday)] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine  (40 min)

On Mondays (and Tuesdays if a national holiday falls on the preceding Monday), this tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.


Lunch (Japanese/Western style buffet lunch)  (50 min)

From Kyoto to Nara  (90 min)

Head to Nara via Nara Keinawa Expressway


Todai-ji Temple (Great Buddha)/Nara Park (90 min)

A World Heritage site. This is the symbol of the Nara Period and one of the world's largest wooden structures. Its huge main hall and bronze Great 

Buddha are impressive to behold.


Kasuga Taisha Shrine  (40 min)

This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers.


Nara Nagomikan  (20 min)

The largest souvenir shop in Nara. Enjoy yourself in this spacious shop and look for the perfect souvenir.

Day 3: Kyoto - Hiroshima - Miyajima - Hiroshima

From pick-up hotels to Kyoto Station. Please be at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure.

Kyoto Station  (125 min)  

Reserved seating aboard the Shinkansen (Nozomi or Hikari). From Kyoto Station to Hiroshima Station. There is no accompanying English-speaking tour conductor while onboard the Shinkansen.

Walk to Hotel Granvia Hiroshima

Go to Miyajimaguchi by bus


From Miyajimaguchi go to Miyajima Port (5 min)  

Go to Miyajima by ferry



Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima (Please eat lunch on your own)  (120 min)  

A World Heritage site. Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mount Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.


From Miyajima Port go to Miyajimaguchi (5 min)  

Go to Miyajimaguchi by ferry


Depart from Miyajimaguchi  (30 min)  

Take the bus to Peace Memorial Park


Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park & Museum  (100 min)

This large-scale park was established in 1949 after the Pacific War ended, and is visited by countless visitors as a symbol of peace. The museum within the park is an Important Cultural Property of Japan, and was built to remind future generations of the terror wrought by atomic bombs.


Atomic Bomb Dome

The Atomic Bomb Dome is a symbol of the disastrous atomic bombing during WWII, the first atomic bombs used in human history, and has been preserved as it was to promote peace and elimination of atomic weapons around the world.

Day 4: Hiroshima - Kurashiki - Kyoto

Walk to Hiroshima Station


From Hiroshima Station to Shin-Kurashiki Station  (90 min) 

Take the Kodama Shinkansen (reserved seating) from Hiroshima Station to Shin-Kurashiki Station.


From Shin-Kurashiki Station to the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter 

Transportation will be on a JR train (local service, non-reserved seating) and a taxi when the number of participants does not reach 6.


Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter  (80 min)  

Stroll through many of the original storehouses that have been preserved from the Edo and Meiji Periods (Edo: 1603–1868, Meiji: 1868–1912).


Western-style lunch at Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel  (60 min)



Ohara Museum of Art  (40 min)

Not only the collection of modern and Western art, but the ancient Greek architecture and the ivy-covered stone walls also attract many visitors.


Kurashiki Station to Okayama Station  (20 min) 

Take the JR train (ordinary car, non-reserved seating) and head to Okayama Station.


Depart from Okayama Station  

Head to Okayama Korakuen by taxi.


Arrive at Korakuen Garden  (40 min)

One of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan, and represents the Genroku Culture of the early Edo Period.



Okayama Station  

Head to Okayama Station by taxi.


From Okayama Station to Kyoto Station (90 min) 

Take the Hikari Shinkansen (reserved seating) to Kyoto Station. There is no accompanying interpreter guide while onboard the Shinkansen.



Arrive at Kyoto Station  

Participants will be taken to their hotels by taxi

Day 5: Kyoto

Free time all day

Day 6: Kyoto - Shizuoka - Mt. Fuji - Tokyo

6:45- 7:20 a.m.

Pick-up Service - New Miyako Hotel Lobby

Pick-up service is available at hotels in Kyoto city. Please be at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure. 


Depart from Kyoto Station  (135 min)  

Board a Tokaido Shinkansen (Hikari or Kodama) in the reserved section. Staff will not board the Shinkansen with you.


Depart from Shizuoka Station  

The tour will depart from Shizuoka Station by bus for sightseeing.


Board the Nihondaira Ropeway  (5 min)  

Board this 1,065-meter-long ropeway which connects the peak of Nihondaira and Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. From the ropeway window a view of Suruga Bay and, on clear days, Izu Peninsula, can be enjoyed.


Kunozan Toshogu Shrine  (30 min)

A shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, a shogun from the Edo period. The main hall, ishi-no-ma, and worship hall are designated National Treasures. The shrine's beautiful lacquering and carvings are a must-see.


Board the Nihondaira Ropeway  (5 min)  

Take the ropeway to the top of Nihondaira.


Nihondaira Ocha Kaikan  (20 min)

Tour the tea plantation here which looks out onto Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay. 
Taste testing of the Japanese tea made here is available, and tea can be purchased as well.


Shimizu  (50 min)

Please enjoy the fresh seafood of this port town.


Shizuoka City Tokaido Hiroshige Museum of Art Tour & Block Printing Experience (30 min)

The 16th post town along the Tokaido road, Yui-shuku is known around the world for the art museum featuring ukiyo-e woodblock prints by master Utagawa Hiroshige. Enjoy the museum which features approximately 1,400 ukiyo-e works. Ukiyo-e is a style of block printing developed in the Edo period (1603-1868). This style was highly influential, and it’s thought that even Vincent van Gogh studied the style, creating oil paintings based on woodblock prints by famous artist Utagawa Hiroshige. 
Look forward to a simple ukiyo-e woodblock print making experience at the art museum.


Mt. Fuji 2nd Station  (15 min)

Enjoy the view of the mountain from Mt. Fuji's 2nd Station at an altitude of 1,500 meters.



Depart from Mishima Station  (150 min)  

Board a Tokaido Shinkansen (Hikari or Kodama) in the reserved section. A transfer may be required. There is no accompanying interpreter guide while onboard the Shinkansen.




Arrive at Tokyo Station

An English-speaking tour conductor will meet participants at Tokyo Station. 
A drop-off service by taxi to accommodations within the city area is available.

Day 7: Tokyo

7:05 - 7:45 a.m.

Pick-up service is available at hotel accommodation. Please be at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure. 


Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo Main Tower 3F Check-in Counter  

The tour will depart from Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo for Tokyo sightseeing via tour bus. 


National Diet Building (Drive-by)  

This is the center of the Japanese Government. Don't let the impressive Western-style architecture fool you--this building is constructed almost entirely out of pure Japanese materials.


Imperial Palace (Drive-by) 

Formerly known as Edo Castle, this palace is the residence of the Emperor of Japan. 
The grounds are lush with green foliage and provide a relaxing spot for Tokyoites and visitors alike.


Tsukiji Outer Market  (50 min)

Japan’s No.1 place for seafood with over 400 shops including fresh fish retailers, grocers, and restaurants. Enjoy shopping and try some local food while exploring this one-of-a-kind location.


Kabukiza (Drive-by)  

A classic Japanese-style theater where traditional Kabuki performances are held.


Tokyo Skytree Town®  (70 min)

Enjoy freely exploring Tokyo Skytree®, Tokyo Solamachi® which features many traditional Tokyo shops, an aquarium, planetarium, and more.


Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street  (45 min)

Senso-ji, Tokyo's oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as "Nakamise" stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of shops. 
Tour ends in Asakusa after enjoying a stroll around.

Day 8: Tokyo

Enjoy entire day free at Tokyo.

Receive information regarding Day-9 departure times.

Day 9: Tokyo - Narita Airport

Free time until departure.

The taxi driver will meet customers at the hotel in Tokyo and drop them off at the airport in time for their flight.

Arrive at Narita Airport.

An English-speaking interpreter guide or English-speaking assistant will accompany each tour from the meeting point until the tour end. Furthermore, please note that the interpreter guide or assistant is generally different for each tour. 


Customers with late-night arrivals or departures at Kansai International Airport may need to wait at the airport for several hours as the shared taxi service will be unavailable. 


 This is a special tour for international visitors. Please understand that residents of Japan cannot make bookings for this tour. 


 If the minimum number of participants is not met by 14 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be canceled.


[Luggage Transport Service]
Suitcases and other large pieces of luggage will be sent from hotels in Kyoto City on Day 6 to accommodation in Tokyo separately by truck. (One article of standard size luggage per customer will be transported free of charge.) 


[Airport Shuttle Service]
Itami Airport may also be specified for shuttle service on the outbound trip, while Haneda Airport may also be specified for shuttle service on the return trip. In such cases, please inform us when booking. 


[1-Day Kyoto & Nara Tour (Day 2)]
1. The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. 
(Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event).

2. The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on June 25, Sept. 25 and Dec. 25. Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/New Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead. 

3. During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 15 - 16), drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto will be unavailable due to traffic restrictions. 
4. At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour does not include entrance to areas requiring admission. 

5. Nara Nagomikan may be omitted from the itinerary if it is closed on the day of the tour, or as a result of traffic congestion. 

6. Connection to the Kyoto Night Tour or Kyoto Maiko Dinner is not possible.


[2-Day Hiroshima & Kurashiki (Day 3-4)]
1. The type of transportation (mini bus, large van, taxi, train, etc.) between Hiroshima Station and Miyajima and from Shin-Kurashiki Station to Okayama Station will vary depending on the number of participants. 

2. If you would like a vegetarian menu, please inform us at the time of reservation.


[1-Day Express Mt. Fuji (Day 6)]
1. Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be given for this reason. Also, please note that during summer Mt. Fuji is difficult to see from Nihondaira, Shimizu and Yui areas. 

2. Depending on road conditions and the operating situation of the Shinkansen, the visit to Nihondaira tea hall or Shizuoka City Tokaido Hiroshige Museum of Art may be omitted from the itinerary. The tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be issued for this reason. Also, delays to the arrival time may be expected. 

3. When the Minami-Fuji Ever Green Line is closed due to ice, traffic accident or other reason, and the tour cannot reach the 2nd Station of Mt. Fuji, the tour will visit Susono Municipal Mt. Fuji Museum, Mt. Fuji Juku-no Mori (Mt. Fuji Visitor Center Juku Forest Park), or Iwamotoyama Park. 

4. Mt. Fuji's 2nd Station is typically 5 to 10 degrees Celsius colder than Tokyo. On tours from autumn to spring, please bring a coat and other warm clothing. 

5. If the Nihondaira Ropeway is not running due to inclement weather or maintenance, or as a result of road or organization circumstances, it may be omitted and replaced with one or more of the following:

Nihondaira Zoo, Seikenji Temple, Sumpu Castle Park, Shimizu Port Bay Cruise, Miho no Matsubara, Shiraito Falls, Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine, Mishima Taisha Shrine, Numazu Goyotei etc., but this will not be used as a reason to cancel the tour, and refunds will not be given for this reason. 

6. Participants are responsible for boarding the Shinkansen on their own for both outbound and return trips. On the outbound trip, a tour guide or assistant will meet participants at Shizuoka Station. 

7. After sightseeing at Nihondaira, the tour may stop by Nippondaira Hotel. 

8. The tour will climb the 100 stone steps at Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, so please wear shoes which are easy to walk in. 

9. The tour may be conducted via minibus, mid-size car, or compact car depending on the number of participants.

10. An additional JPY 500 must be paid to the guide on the day of the tour for each 4 to 5 year old child to ride Nihondaira Ropeway. 

11. Requests for vegetarian meals or meals without raw fish must be made at the time of reservation. Changes may not be made on the day of the tour.


[Edo Tokyo Tour (Day 7)]
1. Admission to the Tokyo Skytree® Tembo Deck is not included in the tour booking charge. Before entering, please pay a separate charge of JPY 2,060 for each person age 18 and older, JPY 1,540 for each person age 12~17, JPY 930 for each person age 6~11, and JPY 620 for each person age 4~5. 

2. On Wednesdays, Sundays, and other days when Tsukiji Outer Market is closed, an alternate destination of Hamarikyu Gardens, Imperial Palace East Gardens, Imperial Palace Plaza Nijubashi Bridge, etc. may be visited instead. Also, this tour will not enter the Tsukiji Inner Market nor be guided to the tuna auctions.


1. When booking, we accept requests for non-smoking rooms, double rooms (depends on hotel), and baby cots (depends on hotel), but please note that fulfillment of such requests is not guaranteed. 
Baby cots may be provided at some facilities for an additional fee. Please confirm the details and pay at the location. Also, children sharing beds with adults are limited to 1 child per bed. 

2. The excluded days for each accommodation facility are different than the excluded days for tour operation.
