This combination package combines multiple tours. Enjoy sightseeing around the highlights of locations such as Tokyo, Kamakura, Nikko, Mt. Fuji, Shirakawago, Kyoto, and Hiroshima, all led by an English-speaking interpreter guide. Even people who are not used to travelling in Japan will have no problem participating worry-free.

Day 1: Arrival: Tokyo

JTB staff will meet participants at the airport and assist in boarding a pre-reserved taxi.

Day 2: Tokyo

Pick up service is available to selected major hotels in Tokyo.

The tour departs from Keio Plaza Hotel Toyo Main Tower 3F, Check-in Counter.

You will visit the following places by seat-in-coach:

* National Diet Building (Drive-by)

- The center of Japan's politics as it is the place where Diet Sessions are held.

*Imperial palace (Drive-by)

- It is the Japan’s imperial family’s residence. 

* Tsukiji Outer Market

- The largest marketplace in Japan, Tsukiji is busy and bustling even before the sun comes up. The items lining the outer market are all for restaurant business as they prepare ingredients for the day's menu.

*On Wednesdays, Sundays, and other days when Tsukiji Outer Market is closed, an alternate destination of Hamarikyu Gardens, Imperial Palace East Gardens, Imperial Palace Plaza Nijubashi Bridge, etc. may be visited instead. Also, this tour will not enter the Tsukiji Inner Market nor be guided to the tuna auctions. 

* Kabukiza (Drive-by)

- Tokyo's famous Kabuki theatre, located in Ginza, Tokyo.

* Tokyo Skytree Town

- The world's highest tower is a major symbol of Tokyo, forming the center of Tokyo Skytree Town, which also encompasses Tokyo Solamachi, a complex that includes many shops and restaurants, as well as an aquarium and planetarium.

*Admission to the Tokyo Skytree® Tembo Deck is not included in the tour booking charge. Before entering, please pay a separate charge of JPY 2,060 for each person age 18 and older, JPY 1,540 for each person age 12~17, JPY 930 for each person age 6~11, and JPY 620 for each person age 4~5. 

* Asakusa kannon temple and Nakamise shopping acade

- The arcade is a 300m approach to the temple. You can enjoy shopping and taking picture in front of a famous lantern lamp named Kaminarimon.

Matcha Green Tea Experience at Jomyo-ji Temple  (40 min)
Enjoy some of Japan's famous powdered matcha green tea in the highly refined and tranquil atomosphere of a tearoom constructed over 400 years ago, and enjoy the view of hte temple's Japanese rock garden.
 
Hokoku-ji Temple  (20 min)
Walk through the grounds of Hokoku-ji Temple, known as the bamboo temple for its beautiful bamboo grove. 
 
Kotoku-in Temple and the Great Buddha  (30 min)
Visit Kotoku-in Temple which houses a towering, 13-meter-tall Buddha statue known as one of the three Great Buddha statues in Japan.
 
Lunch  (45 min)
Buddhist vegetarian cuisine is prepared with vegetarian ingredients following the Buddhist teachings against taking life. 
Sit down for a lunch of authentic Buddhist vegetarian cuisine served in a Japanese-style building and prepared with seasonal ingredients.
 
Enoshima Sightseeing  (75 min)
Visit Enoshima, a getaway island popular year-round for its cool ocean breezes. 
 
Cross over the 600-meter bridge that connects the island of Enoshima with the mainland and walk along Benzaiten Nakamise Street which is lined with intriguing shops bustling with customers. 
Afterward, take the Enoshima Escar which will whisk you easily up to Enoshima Shrine. Enjoy the beautiful ocean views from Enoshima Shrine.

Nikko Toshogu Shrine  (100 min)
Tour the UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its lavish decorations, ornate details, and five structures categorized as National Treasures of Japan, and an additional three categorized as Important Cultural Properties. This 400 year old shrine houses the remains of Edo period's founder, Ieyasu Tokugawa. Enjoy seeing the traditional beauty of the main hall, as well as the sleeping cat and 3 monkey carvings.
[Remarks] Yomeimon Gate may be obscured due to restoration work.

Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch.

Lake Chuzenji  (10 min)
Created by an eruption of Mt. Nantai, this lake is a symbol of Nikko.
 
Kegon Falls  (30 min)
Known as one of Japan's 3 great waterfalls, Kegon Falls towers an impressive 97 meters and gushes water from Lake Chuzenji.
[Remarks] The charge to take the Kegon Falls elevator is not included in the booking price. Admire the waterfall from the front side for free from the observation deck.

Mt. Fuji 5th Station  (30 min)
Start the ascent up Mt. Fuji via the Fuji Subaru Line. Climb 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level for breathtaking views from above the clouds.
[Remarks] The tour will not be cancelled or refunded even if Mt. Fuji is not fully visible due to weather conditions.
 
Lunch
Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch.
 
Lake Ashi Cruise  (15 min) 
Go for a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi. The crater lake was born from a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji from various angles.
 
Mt. Komagatake Ropeway  (50 min) 
Spend a total of 50 minutes including a 7-minute ropeway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop.
[Remarks] Hakone Komagatake Ropeway may be omitted due to heavy traffic. The tour will not be cancelled or refunded for such an itinerary alteration.

Kami-Sannomachi  (30 min)
Located in Takayama's old quarter, this street is lined with Edo period buildings, and provides visitors a glimpse into the past.

Wada Residence (traditional thatch-roofed farmhouse) (60 min)
This is one of the thatch-roofed houses, also registered as a World Heritage Site. Look around and be fascinated by the culture and history of the village.

Day 9: Kanazawa - Kyoto

Visit a former residence of a samurai family from the Kaga Domain. Admire the traditional architecture and gaze at the beautiful Japanese garden.
 
Kenroku-en Garden  (60 min)
This beautiful garden is considered one of the top three Japanese gardens and offers amazing seasonal views all year round.
 
Higashi Chaya district  (40 min)
Wooden-latticed exteriors of teahouses line both sides of the stone-paved street here where something from the Edo period still lingers in the air. This area is an Important Traditional Building Preservation District.
 
Hakuza Honten  (30 min)
Feel free to purchase handicrafts, accessories, cosmetics and other items made with gold leaf.

Nijo Castle  (50 min)
A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see. 
Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/New Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
 
Kinkaku-ji Temple  (45 min)
Visit this World Heritage Site, also known as the Golden Pavilion. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.
 
Kyoto Imperial Palace (Except Mondays)  (40 min)

See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago.

[Mondays (and Tuesdays when Monday is a national holiday)] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine  (40 min) On Mondays (and Tuesdays if a national holiday falls on the preceding Monday), this tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.

Lunch (Japanese/Western Buffet Style Lunch)  (50 min)
 

After the lunch, you will proceed to Nara. Here's the visiting places.

Todaiji Temple (UNESCO World Heritage site)
- It is one of the largest bronze statue in the world. The Great Buddha is National Treasure.

* Nara park
- It is called “Deer Park” because you can see many deer in the park. There are about 1.100 deer.

Kasuga Taisha shrine (UNESCO World Heritage site)
- It is located in a forest and contains four buildings, all of which are National Treasures.

* Nara Nagomikan

Itsukushima Shrine is a World Heritage Site. See the vermillion shrine sitting in a lush environment facing the deep blue sea and enjoy the picturesque beauty.

Atomic Bomb Dome
The Atomic Bomb Dome is a symbol of the disastrous atomic bombing during WWII, the first atomic bombs used in human history, and has been preserved as it was to promote peace and elimination of atomic weapons around the world.

1. This tour is a combination package made up from multiple Sunrise Tours plans. 
2. An English-speaking interpreter guide or English-speaking assistant will accompany each tour from the meeting point until the tour end. Furthermore, please note that the interpreter guide or assistant is generally different for each tour. 
3. This is a special tour for international visitors. Please understand that residents of Japan cannot make bookings for this tour. 
4. If the minimum number of participants is not met by 14 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be canceled.

[Luggage Transport Service]
Suitcases and other large pieces of luggage will be sent from hotels in Tokyo on Day 6 to accommodation in Takayama, from accommodation in Takayama on Day 8 to accommodation in Kyoto, and from accommodation in Kyoto on Day 13 to accommodation in Tokyo separately by truck. (One article of standard size luggage per customer will be transported free of charge.) 
[Airport Shuttle Service]
Haneda Airport may also be specified for shuttle service on the outbound and return trips. In such cases, please inform us when booking.

[Edo Tokyo Tour (Day 2)]
1. Admission to the Tokyo Skytree® Tembo Deck is not included in the tour booking charge. Before entering, please pay a separate charge of JPY 2,060 for each person age 18 and older, JPY 1,540 for each person age 12~17, JPY 930 for each person age 6~11, and JPY 620 for each person age 4~5. 

2. On Wednesdays, Sundays, and other days when Tsukiji Outer Market is closed, an alternate destination of Hamarikyu Gardens, Imperial Palace East Gardens, Imperial Palace Plaza Nijubashi Bridge, etc. may be visited instead. Also, this tour will not enter the Tsukiji Inner Market nor be guided to the tuna auctions.

[Kamakura Tour (Day 3)]
1. Lunch will be a Japanese-style meal. Subject to change depending on the facility's circumstances or stocks available on the day. 
Vegetarian meals are available and must be requested at the time of booking. Requests made on the day of the tour will not be accepted. 
Also, allergy-friendly meals, etc. are not available. 
2. Buddhist vegetarian cuisine is vegetarian food prepared with ingredients such as vegetables, beans, etc. Therefore, other vegetarian menus are not available on this tour. However, in the case that lunch is changed to a Japanese-style set meal, customers who made a vegetarian meal request when booking will be provided with a vegetarian meal. 
3. Allergy-friendly meals, etc. are not available. 
4. Locations indicated on the itinerary may be changed due to closed days, inclement weather, events, or traffic conditions. However, the tour will not be cancelled or refunded even in such cases. The following are possible substitutes: Hase Temple, Engaku-ji Temple, Kencho-ji Temple, Kamakuragu Treasure Hall, or Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. 
5. The order of the itinerary is subject to change depending on operation circumstances of locations to be visited, road conditions, and weather conditions. 
6. If the number of participants exceeds 15, earphone guides may be used for the guide's explanations. 
A fee of JPY 10,000 may be incurred if an earphone guide is lost or damaged by a participant. 
7. The Escar will be taken up at Enoshima, but customers will be taking the stairs back down. For those who have difficulty walking, please wait at the Benzaiten Nakamise Street. Please note that refunds will not be issued for such reasons. Thank you for your understanding.

[Nikko Tour (Day 4)]
1. Heavy traffic due to colored leaves is expected every year on Irohazaka Winding Road from Oct. 11 to Nov. 6. Therefore, Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji will not be visited during this period. In such cases, one of the following will be visited instead of Kegon Falls: Taiyuuin Mausoleum at Rinno-ji Temple, Futarasan Shrine, Kirifuri Falls, or Tamozawa Imperial Villa. The alternative plan outlined above may be used even outside of the designated period (Oct. 11~Nov. 6) due to road conditions or other reasons. No refunds will be issued as a result of location changes. 

2. The tour will walk up and down steps and hilly paths at Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kegon Falls. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. 

3. An earphone guide will be provided to each participant at Nikko Toshogu Shrine. However, if there are 15 or fewer participants, earphone guides may not be used. 
A fee of JPY 10,000 may be incurred if an earphone guide is lost or damaged by a participant. 
4. As the tour uses a bus for the entire itinerary, arrivals at each site may be delayed due to road conditions. 
5. Vegetarian meals are available and must be requested at the time of booking. 
6. Depending on road conditions, the tour may stop at a different parking area (rest area) instead of the Hanyu Parking Area. In this case, please note that the different rest area will not be a representation of an Edo Period town.

[Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour (Day 6)]
1. Hakone Komagatake Ropeway may be omitted due to heavy traffic. The tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be issued for this reason. 
2. If the Fuji Subaru Line to Mt. Fuji's 5th station is blocked due to road surface freezing or accidents, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st station. 
When the tour has to turn back at the 1st station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fuji Visitor Center or Lake Kawaguchi. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions. 
3. Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be given for this reason. 
4. Mt. Fuji's 5th station is typically 10 to 15 degrees Celsius colder than Tokyo. On tours from autumn to spring, please bring a coat and other warm clothing. 
5. If the Lake Ashi Cruise or Komagatake Ropeway are not running due to inclement weather or maintenance, or as a result of events, road or organization circumstances, they may be omitted and replaced with one or more of the following. This will not be used as a reason to cancel the tour, and refunds will not be given for this reason. Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani Valley, Hakone Pirate Ship, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, Mt. Kachi Kachi Ropeway, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Hakone Shrine, etc.
6. Please note that the tour will not be guided to the seasonal sightseeing spots if the cherry blossoms are not at their best viewing time, or if the tour cannot proceed to Komagatake Ropeway due to road or organization circumstances. 
7. GPS-enabled audio guides are available on this tour in Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Thai, French, and Indonesian. If required, please request at the time of booking. Requests made on the day of the tour will not be accepted. 
8. The annual Mt. Fuji Hill Climb will be held on a weekend in June (schedule for 2018 is yet to be determined). Please be aware that the itinerary order and destinations to be visited are subject to change. Furthermore, please note that refunds will not be issued in this case, and customers will not be notified separately when the schedule has been determined.

[Takayama & Kanazawa Tour (Day 7-9)]
1. There is no time allotted for lunch on Day 1 of the Takayama & Kanazawa itinerary. Participants will eat lunch on board the train, so purchasing something to eat before departure is recommended. 
2. If sightseeing facilities at Takayama or Kanazawa are closed, the tour will be taken to alternative destinations. 
3. Please understand that there is no vegetarian option available for lunch at Shirakawago on Day 8. 

8.

[1-Day Kyoto & Nara Tour (Day 10)]
1. The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead.
(Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event).
2. The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on June 25, Sept. 25 and Dec. 25. Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/New Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead. 
3. During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 15 - 16), drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto will be unavailable due to traffic restrictions. 
4. At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour does not include entrance to areas requiring admission.
